making this 500th post in this blog short and simple since i'm going to book in like pretty soon. some things that i've done in this 2 weeks.
field camp is finally over! although it seemed to be shorter than usual or atl east what i expected, could see tremendous teamwork and with all the things done, i'm pretty happy it's over.
range was... pretty bad for me. kept reshooting till i was the last man left for the day shoot. but at least i think i got my marksman and i should be happy with it.
only thing that i disliked was the confinement after field camp in combo with the little hours of sleep during the range week due to the cleaning of rifles etcetc. barely 3 hours of sleep everyday makes me feel very lethargic, or at least mentally tired.
went out with a few platoon mates to chill out. probably one of my most sinful day. indulged like almost $40 worth of food. but at least it was worth the company, money and sharing of stories and talks about certain people. haha. hopefully more of these will come again.
i guess the only high key event left would be sitest happening tomorrow, and after that hopefully it'll be slack period time! at least it'll be more relaxing and less mind-taxing i hope. with a new intake coming in like next week, somehow it makes me feel like time in BMT is going through very fast, very very fast.
oh i believe

the first week of bmt phase is over and all i can conclude is that, there won't be as much free time as compared to during the PTP phase.
some highlights this week.
GRENADE!
and i think i broke my zero too! time to improve slowly and hopefully i'll be able to pass my ippt by then. still thinking about the pathway about going command sch though. hearing about unit life can be so depressing and low morale, but im afraid i wouldn't be able to handle the tough training inside command sch. sighhhhh.
the first week in the new company went pretty smoothly i guess. my bunkmates are very motivating to each other and they get along and communicate with each other pretty well. i don't know how other sections behave but i think i'm quite lucky to be in a environment that i'm comfortable.
of course, i do hope that our old platoon will have a chance to be united together and end this bmt phase together too.
and my field camp is just next week too =( gota enjoy this long weekend before i die inside for 2 weeks.
a song of home
